The second, and biggest turning point came when I experienced a psychic attack in sleep. It came as an orchestrated dream, designed to first disorient and then dominate me into feeling scared and helpless. And in the thick of the dream, as I was indeed feeling disoriented and devoid of strength to fight back, I took Narasimha’s name. My Soul knew, I needed Him at that point, and it called for Him. I was not awake, but I was aware. I could sense it’s an attack, and I could also realize I am not being able to do anything or even speak in the dream. This is when I took His name – realizing that while I was taking His name in my mind, in reality I was just mumbling in sleep! I persisted with this “mumbling” – and the attack receded immediately. The whole experience was so REAL – just so, so Real!

After this, I realized that studying this Kavach and making it available to as many “fellow travelers” as possible is a Spiritual Project assigned to me. I spoke about my dream experience to several friends and many of them had had similar “dreams” – which in my view were possible psychic attacks by negative entities. Negative entities do not attack us like it is shown in horror movies. Their attack is aimed at “plugging into our thoughts and energy field”. This is easiest when our guard is low – either during sleep, extreme stress or an emotional downturn. We misunderstand this attack as “just dreams” or “just thoughts” – unpleasant, depressing ones but dreams and thoughts, nevertheless. Actually, this is the Negative entity’s way to feed onto us like a parasite. The more sad, stressed and helpless we feel, the easier it is for the entity to latch onto us further and further. The entity’s purpose of plugging onto us can vary from just feeding itself with our life force to settling some past Karma to many more things, which is a science in itself. However, I have come to realize, we suffer negative energy attacks quite frequently, and most of the time do not realize we are undergoing one. Just like a virus attack – to draw an analogy.

This is why I believe connecting to Lord Narasimha is so crucial. He is the perfect Mix of Preserver, Protector and Eliminator roles of Lord Vishnu. I have experienced His benevolence towards me as well as His ferocity towards Negative entities and Negative energy – this is what the Logo represents. He brings prosperity, purpose and protection to our everyday lives, given we reach out to Him with love and devotion. Facilitating this “reach out” is the purpose of this website, Dear Traveller!
