We have all heard the story Hiranyakashipu, and how Lord Narsimha protected Prahalad.
He is one of the fierce looking Vishnu Avatar. The formidable form of Lord Narasimha may appear terrifying to those who are not devotees, but to His followers, He is just as loving as in His other forms.
Lord Vishnu’s Narasimha avatar emphasises the idea that when evil threatens, the divine will always find a way to restore balance and protect those who have faith.

And for me that inspires courage & ability to overcome fear.
I had goosebumps when i heard Narasimha kavach, and always go back to it when I seek protection or rescue from any harm.
Through his transformational power any distressing state can be rectified.
